Termed
A Data Game
Termed is a game for 8-12 year old children to make them aware about healthier online practices, conceptualized as part of NYC Media Lab X Consumer Reports Data Privacy Challenge, Fall 2020.
Digital presence of children keeps increasing every single day; But not enough is being done to safeguard their online privacy. The project aims for kids to start a conversation - on data, on privacy and on their digital existence. The game seeks to help children understand the concept of privacy, consent and data breach of today, and lead them to think about what a healthy online practice might be, and how they might be able to be online in a safer way. Gamifying this process makes the learning experience clear, fun and impactful.
